Every year Magister JFT organises the Fit for the Future event in cooperation with Tilburg Law School. This is the absolute go-to career event of the year.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to attend inspiration sessions, attend workshops and listen to fascinating speakers. The event is for all students of TLS. So whether you're a first-year or master's student and whatever your studies are, you'll want to be there! There is a programme full of something interesting for everyone, you choose your own workshops. You will learn how to prepare yourself for your future career and how to work on your personal development.
Besides a good education, it is increasingly important to develop competences in the field of personal development, including soft skills, digital skills and labour market skills. This event will increase your insight into the developments on the labour market and give you tools to prepare yourself for your future career.

Whether you are a first year or a master student and whatever your studies are at TLS, the event is interesting for all TLS students. After all, in every phase of your study it is important to think about - and prepare for - your future career!
Year 2024-2025
On November 6th, Magister JFT, in collaboration with Tilburg Law School, proudly organized the career event ‘Fit For The Future.’ This event was aimed at preparing students for a successful career and offered valuable insights into the rapidly changing job market.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to attend various workshops, carefully designed to impart both practical and strategic knowledge. The workshops, led by experienced professionals, were a great success and received highly positive feedback from the students. The interactive format not only encouraged active participation but also gave students the chance to ask professionals questions directly and gain insights they can apply in their future careers.
Following the workshops, a lively networking market took place, where numerous organizations were present and eager to engage with students. This informal setting provided a valuable opportunity for students to establish direct contact with potential employers, learn more about career opportunities, and possibly take the first steps toward an internship or entry-level position.
We look back on a very successful edition of ‘Fit For The Future’ and thank all participating organizations and attendees for their presence and commitment. Thanks to our collective efforts, we were able to create an inspiring and educational event that prepares our students for a successful future. We look forward to future collaborations and further strengthening the connection between students and the professional field.
