Magister JFT | Erga Omnes chamber, established in 2025, caters specifically to all Global Law and English Master students at Tilburg Law School. By organising both formal and informal events, the chamber aims to achieve its main goal of providing an inclusive environment and enriching their student experience in Tilburg.
For students eager to pursue academic interests and deepen their knowledge on Global Law and English Master and its implications, we organise guest lectures, study-clinics and discussion groups. We believe it is important to combine these academic aspects with a rich social life, to allow students to escape studying and enjoy all that Tilburg has to offer. Therefore we host social events ranging from vibrant parties to more laid back gatherings like Movie Nights or Pub Quizzes. While it is our aim to facilitate an enriching student experience, we are aware that one eye must be kept on the future. Networking Events, Company Visits or Skills Nights are always on the agenda to give students an opportunity to find out how their unique skill set acquired by the Global Law and Master programme will translate into career paths to be taken. Being part of the Magister JFT | Erga Omnes chamber therefore provides you with endless opportunities and is also a chance to form close bonds and friendships with your peers.
As to the way in which the chamber is structured, Magister JFT | Erga Omnes consists of its Board, 7 committees and many further members. The committees allow for student members to develop their skills, by working as a team to organise fun and educational events. Being part of a committee also provides the opportunity to form friendships with Global Law students from all years and all different walks of life. We naturally would encourage anyone to apply to become an active member as part of a committee, but we are equally happy to welcome students who wish to simply join events at any time.
All in all, Magister JFT | Erga Omnesis the Chamber of Magister JFT that focusses on the interests of the students studying international programs within Tilburg Law School. The chamber provides a platform for academic enrichment, professional development, and social connection. Erga Omnes organises workshops, academic excursions, competitions, and networking events that allow members to deepen their legal knowledge and engage with their fellow students. Through its committees and student-led initiatives, the association fosters an active community for both bachelor’s and master’s students who want to broaden their understanding of law.
